What Our Users Say

Don't just take our word for it. Here's what our users have to say about our Android app.

"Absolutely positively a useless paperweight. Will not connect to IOS/ IPhone, or android..... several emails to customer support with no response."

Kirk Guida

"Perfectly useless Classic example of someone making money at the start of something and then refusing to plough some of that back into R&D, firmware and software updates. The app is hopeless irrespective of the phone and the Pulse refuses to recognise any of my cameras despite updated drivers and the latest firmware. Some amazing apps and devices out there to remotely help you take images. Pulse isn't one of them."

Paradoxically

"Finally arrived yesterday, strange that it's iOS firmware based and won't let my android update... Time lapse works fine, but only one feature 'exposure ramping', adds to the disappointment along with the Bluetooth issues"

Paul eeles

"Application cannot connect to the Pulse receiver. Just waisting time and money!"

Igor Lisunov

"App won't even install on Samsung S9. Useless unit and I feel like a real chump for supporting Alpine Labs on Kickstarter. It's a shame because it puts people off other startups that might actually have products that work. Don't waste your time/money"

S. G. S.

"The Pulse does not connect with my Nikon D5200 camera. I have attempted several times and but it does not connect. I have downloaded the Pulse software to a Galaxy 10+ and also to a Galaxy 6 and neithenr phones connect. I am very disappointed with this product, despite the high praises from the professionals that shoot night skies.n"

Marcelo Tabango

"Don't work even when it working not reliable what are the developers doing about it watse of money 😠☹🤷🏿‍♂️"

"Update July 21 2020 dec 22 2020 NOT WORKING.team won't respond waist of money I want this to work can't even send bug issue through this app. Please fix this app so it works again. - have used product for years but now cant get it to pair with phone via app or bluetooth whether it is attached to camera or not. Fully charged. turned everything on and off even deleted and reinstalled still won't pair. giving 1 stars for it is not working but will be great again if it pairs with my phone."

L Dalander

"As of September 24, 2020, the latest update does not work. The only thing that works is that it connects and works for about 5 min. I tried to submit a bug, through the app, and it tells me that i am not connected to the internet. I am in my house and connected to the internet."

Robert

"Like virtually everyone else here says, the app is trash, the firmware is trash, the Alpine Labs team aren't updating the app to work with new phones. They don't do updates any more, bugs aren't fixed. If you're lucky enough to connect at all, you'll likely constantly get disconnected, or the thumbnail feature won't work, or it will tell you that the device is connected, but it isn't connected to a camera. And yet, they still sell the product from their website. Scam."
